Scenic Float Tour
Combine sightseeing and rafting on this
excursion. Enjoy a beautiful 10-mile drive along the coast to the Dyea
valley, an old Gold Rush settlement now returned to nature and within the
Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. On the drive you may spot
porpoise, seals, and eagles. Your guide will point out wildlife, native
plants and tell stories of the area's fascinating history as you float down
the gentle Taiya River. We also stop at the Skagway scenic overlook for
a panoramic view of the town (time permitting). It is suitable for all
ages and skill levels.
