Gold Rush Flightseeing

This tour begins with a spectacular overview of Skagway and the famous White Pass Trail, the route taken by thousands of gold seekers during the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898. You will be awed by the majesty and ruggedness of the landscape as your pilot flies over the historic Chilkoot Trail and it's infamous Pass. Crossing the border into British Columbia, you will view Lake Bennett, headwaters of the mighty Yukon River. Weather permitting, you will then climb to view the awesome expanse of the Juneau Ice Field, over 1,200 miles of windswept ice surrounded by jagged peaks and gigantic glaciers. The history and points of interest along your route are narrated by your pilot.
